Settings: toggles now save the moment you flip them

Settings toggles now autosave automatically as you change them — no more hunting for a Save button. Each toggle shows clear saving, saved, and error states inline, and if a save fails the toggle rolls back to its last saved value so you always know what's actually stored.

  • The privacy counterparty-disclosure default now saves on change with inline saving/saved feedback, matching the notification preferences matrix.
  • Failed saves revert the toggle to its last saved state and explain what went wrong instead of leaving it in a misleading position.
  • Saved settings persist across refresh and navigation, and the toggle keeps its accessible label, description, and live-region status messaging.

Cleaner property numbers that no longer spill over their tiles

Large dollar figures — portfolio totals, ARV, asking prices, rent, and rehab scope — now stay neatly inside their cards across the Deal Analyzer, portfolio rollups, workflow board, and marketplace. Very large totals show in a compact form (like $1.2M) and long values wrap cleanly instead of overlapping nearby labels.

  • Portfolio rollup tiles display big totals compactly (e.g. $1.2M, $3.4B) so they fit without truncation.
  • Property metric tiles, comp cards, imported facts, and price pills wrap or contain long numbers instead of overlapping their containers.
  • Number formatting is display-only — your underlying figures are unchanged.

Property search clearly shows when results are refreshing

When you run a new property search, your previous results stay on screen so the page never flashes empty — but they're now clearly marked as updating while the new lookup runs, so you'll never mistake the old numbers for the fresh ones.

  • A clear "Updating results…" indicator appears over your deal snapshot and insight panels while a new search is in flight.
  • Previous results are dimmed and flagged as loading instead of being presented as the current, settled result.
  • Switching to a different property still clears the old data, so stale numbers are never shown as current.

Academy: interactive deal simulations for Pro

The Academy now lets Pro members run interactive deal simulations — analyze a mock deal, adjust the assumptions that move the numbers, and compare the adjusted outcome against the baseline side-by-side. Free members get a baseline preview with an upgrade path.

  • Pro members adjust live assumptions (price, ARV, rent, LTV, rate, and more) on real mock deals and watch the outcome recompute instantly.
  • A baseline-vs-adjusted comparison table shows the delta on each outcome — profit, cash flow, cash-on-cash, cash left in deal — with green/red direction cues.
  • Free members see a limited baseline preview and a contextual upgrade prompt tied to the simulation, with no Pro outcome math exposed.

Academy upgrade prompts now meet you at the moment you're ready

The Academy now surfaces Pro upgrade prompts at the natural conversion moments — after you finish a lesson, before you run a practice simulation, and before you open the AI mentor — with messaging focused on accelerating execution toward your first deal, not generic premium access.

  • Finish a free lesson and get a contextual nudge into the full execution-mastery track.
  • The Interactive Scenario Lab and AI mentor invite free users to run unlimited reps and unlimited mentor questions on Pro.
  • Pro members never see the prompts, and locked Pro lessons stay redacted — no content leaks.

PocketSquad AI shows its thinking and tool use, Grok style

Deal Copilot now surfaces a live "Thinking" indicator that names the tool it is using in real time, labels tool calls in plain English, and keeps reasoning in its own collapsible section so you can verify what the assistant actually did.

  • A live thinking indicator shows the current activity ("Searching the web", "Creating a lead") with an elapsed timer instead of a static spinner.
  • Tool calls render with friendly labels and per-tool icons, with arguments and results in collapsible cards.
  • Reasoning tokens stay in their own section, separate from the answer, for clearer trust and review.

PocketSquad AI chat: sources, attachments, and reasoning controls

The Deal Copilot chat now shows clickable source citations, makes attaching images and documents smoother with drag-and-drop, and lets you pick how hard the AI thinks.

  • Web and X search answers list clickable, numbered sources with the site they came from.
  • Drag-and-drop, paste, and the file picker all add image/PDF/CSV/TXT attachment chips you can remove before sending.
  • A Fast / Balanced / Smartest reasoning selector lets you trade speed for depth, and it remembers your choice.
  • A context-usage meter shows how much of the long-context window your conversation is using.

Talk to PocketSquad AI with voice dictation

The AI chat composer now offers Grok-style voice input: a Mic button dictates speech straight into the text box with a live Listening indicator, gradient glow, and waveform, while the main action button shows Waves on an empty box and switches to Send the moment you type.

  • Mic button dictates speech into the prompt box using your browser's speech recognition, so you can stop, edit, and send normally.
  • Empty composer shows a Waves voice button that swaps to the Send arrow as soon as you start typing.
  • Active dictation lights up the input bar with an emerald-to-cyan gradient, glow, waveform, and a pulsing Listening indicator; typing exits voice mode automatically.

Academy Pro lessons stay locked until you upgrade

Free learners can still start the Core Investor Curriculum, but advanced Academy paths and premium guides now show clear Pro locks instead of exposing full Pro-only lesson content.

  • Pro learning paths and advanced guides display locked cards and redacted readers for free users.
  • Core beginner curriculum and the first-investment guide remain fully available on the free tier.
  • Upgrade CTAs route free users into the Academy upgrade flow instead of leaking premium lesson bodies.

Database and AI widget access hardened

A security review pass tightened Supabase profile exposure, marketplace rating writes, referral balance RPC access, and widget-chat quota enforcement.

  • Published profile reads no longer expose private billing, verification, or notification columns to anonymous clients.
  • Squad collaborators see only collaboration-safe profile fields instead of full profile rows.
  • Marketplace outcome ratings and referral balance adjustments are harder to abuse across accounts.
  • Web and mobile AI widget chat now share quota checks before responses stream.

Going forward

This page should stay focused on customer-facing product movement: the workflows that got stronger, the pages investors can use, and the improvements that change how PocketSquad feels in day-to-day use.
