Network: search professionals by role and distance from a ZIP code

The professional directory now supports searching by role/category and by a distance radius from a US ZIP code. Results show each professional's location and how far they are from the searched market, with honest empty and partial-data states when locations are missing. Search still only ever returns published profiles, so distance scoping never exposes hidden members.

  • Filter the directory by professional role and by a 10–250 mile radius around any 5-digit US ZIP code.
  • Each result shows its location and distance from the searched ZIP, ranked nearest first.
  • Clear states explain unresolvable ZIPs and published profiles excluded for not sharing a precise location.
  • Distance scoping only ranks the already-visible published set — it cannot surface hidden or private profiles.

Vault: validated uploads, in-app PDF preview, and Word export

Vault uploads now check the file type and a per-plan size limit before saving, with clear errors when a file is rejected. PDFs and images preview right inside the document page through a reliable viewer path, and supported Vault reports can be exported to a Word document.

  • Uploads are validated for supported file types and a per-plan size limit (smaller on Free, larger on paid), with a clear inline message when a file is too large or the wrong type.
  • PDFs and images render inline in the Vault document page; other file types fall back to a reliable download path.
  • Supported Vault reports and documents can be exported to a Word (.docx) file in one click.

Sign-in reliability: clearer setup errors and no console spam

We hardened how the app connects to its data and authentication backend. When that connection isn't fully configured — for example on a fresh or partially set-up environment — sign-in and related screens now degrade cleanly instead of flooding the browser console with cryptic errors, and a genuine misconfiguration surfaces one clear, actionable message instead of a confusing failure deep in the stack.

  • A single, validated bootstrap point checks the public backend URL and key, so a blank or malformed value is caught up front with a plain-language error.
  • Sign-in, password-reset, and property-search screens share one consistent readiness check and disable gracefully when the backend isn't wired up, instead of throwing.
  • No user-facing behavior change when everything is configured — this is purely error-handling and startup robustness.

Deal Analyzer: see how the After-Repair Value is calculated

The Deal Analyzer now explains its After-Repair Value. A new "How is the After-Repair Value calculated?" section breaks down the value basis, the comparable-derivation steps, and the inputs behind the confidence score — in plain language, with no change to the numbers themselves.

  • A plain-language explainer shows what drives the ARV figure and how confident the estimate is.
  • Covers the value basis, comparable-derivation steps, the confidence inputs, and any risk flags.
  • Transparency-only — the underlying ARV and confidence math is unchanged.

Admin: founder/pro assignment and referral controls

The internal Founders console now lets admins assign a member's plan tier (including capped Founders access) and enable or disable a member's referral code without manual database edits. Every change is gated to internal admins and written to an audit trail so the team can see who changed what and when.

  • Admins can assign Free, Plus, Pro, or capped Founders access to a member directly from the internal console — no manual database edits for common support and comp cases.
  • Admins can enable or disable a member's referral code from the same console to handle abuse, support requests, or corrections.
  • Every entitlement and referral-control action is recorded in a dedicated, admin-only audit trail capturing the acting admin, the target member, the before/after state, and the time.

Deal Copilot: auto-scroll to latest message and Enter-to-send

The Deal Copilot chat now follows the conversation for you. New messages scroll into view automatically during normal back-and-forth, but the viewport stays put when you've scrolled up to read earlier history. Pressing Enter sends your message, and Shift+Enter still adds a new line for longer prompts.

  • Chat auto-scrolls to the newest assistant or user message during normal conversation flow.
  • Auto-scroll no longer yanks the viewport when you've scrolled up to read history — it only follows when you're already near the bottom.
  • Enter sends the current message, while Shift+Enter inserts a newline for multiline prompts.

Feedback: reliable submission and screenshot upload

Sending feedback is more dependable, and screenshots now persist securely instead of living only inside notification emails. Uploads validate the image format and size up front with clear, recoverable errors, and each submission carries more context for the team to triage.

  • Screenshots upload to a private, owner-scoped storage bucket and are referenced from each submission, so they survive even if the notification email does not.
  • Unsupported formats and oversized images are caught with a clear message before submitting, and upload failures return a recoverable error without losing the note.
  • Notification emails now include the submitter, page, timestamp, and short-lived signed links to screenshots so feedback is easier to triage without exposing files publicly.

Workflow Board: edit and delete your own notes

On a workflow record, the person who wrote a note can now edit it or delete it (with a confirmation step). Notes update instantly while saving, and revert if something goes wrong. Only the author sees the edit and delete controls — teammates can read the note but cannot change it.

  • Authors can edit their own workflow-record notes inline, with the change appearing immediately while it saves.
  • Authors can delete their own notes after a quick confirmation, with the note removed optimistically and restored if the delete fails.
  • Edit and delete controls are author-only and enforced on the server, so teammates can read notes but cannot modify or remove them.

Workflow board: horizontal or vertical layout toggle

The workflow board now lets you choose how the stage lanes are arranged. Switch between the default vertical lanes and a horizontal layout from the board header, and your choice is remembered on your device for next time. Drag-and-drop and stage moves keep working the same way in both layouts.

  • Pick a horizontal or vertical workflow lane layout from the board header.
  • Your layout preference is saved per device and restored automatically on return.
  • Default behavior is unchanged, and drag/stage-move interactions work in both layouts.

Workflow: no more duplicate property records from double-clicks

Adding a property to your workflow no longer creates duplicate cards if you click the button more than once or your connection is slow. The Add button now disables itself while the property is being added, and the server quietly returns the existing record instead of creating a second copy of the same property.

  • The "Add property record" button disables while a property is being added, so an impatient double-click can't fire the request twice.
  • If the same property is submitted again, the workflow reuses the record you already have instead of creating a duplicate.
  • No data migration or change to your existing workflow records — the fix is enforced when a record is saved.

Going forward

This page should stay focused on customer-facing product movement: the workflows that got stronger, the pages investors can use, and the improvements that change how PocketSquad feels in day-to-day use.
